Who we are

I’m a web developer for hire. If you want to contact me about a project, please send me a message using the form on the homepage.

You cannot make an account here. There are no users. You cannot buy anything.

There’s nothing to do but read about me and contact me if you so wish.

Cookies

We do not use cookies explicitly, but necessary services for protecting forms from abuse by bots may rely on existing cookies in your browser or related data to determine user safety when submitting the contact form.

We do not use tracking pixels, analytics, performance or activity tracking, or any similar systems, nor do we share data with anyone outside such cases as might be required by law.

Embedded content from other websites

This site may include embedded content (e.g. recaptcha). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

If you submit a form on this site, the data that you submit may be sent to an SMTP provider (SendGrid) to send a notification email so that I can respond.

How long we retain your data

We don’t. Your IP address is temporarily logged whenever you make a request to our server, including when you first visited, as a standard practice. These kinds of server logs typically get flushed every couple of months or whenever a major update occurs.

If you really feel uncomfortable about this, send me a message and I’ll remove your data.

What rights you have over your data

We do not intentionally collect any user data.

As a normal practice for maintaining a server, there is a log of requests made. These are temporary and are flushed periodically or whenever a major update occurs. This means that your IP address is stored in a log file, temporarily, for each page your visit on the site, or for each form submitted.

  1. If you submit the Contact Us form, the following will additionally occur:
An email would be sent to my inbox with the name you shared, your email address and the message you sent. This means that there is an email in my inbox that would include the information you submitted.
  2. Google would have some sort of record of the form being submitted as well as how it determined that you were not a bot.
  3. The SMTP service (SendGrid) would have a log of the email sent to me on your behalf from when you submitted the form.

I can’t really do anything about Google’s history of recaptcha human validation, but if you really want what little data exists removed from anywhere else, just submit the Contact Us form and let me know and I’ll handle it.

Where your data is sent

We do not intentionally collect data and we do not send it anywhere, however if you submit the Contact Us form on the main page, this will send an email to me with the name, email and message that you shared. This means that this information is shared briefly with an SMTP service (SendGrid) which then sends the email on behalf of the server.

Additionally, when you submit the contact form, you will be evaluated by Google’s reCaptcha server to determine the probability that you are a bot.
